The Management Company received the following correspondence from Waste Management, the Association's Preferred Trash Company:

"Re: Cranberry Estates Homeowners Association

Dear Ms. Colom-

 After careful consideration, Waste Management will be discontinuing its preferred trash hauler program with the Cranberry Estates Homeowners Association effective February 1, 2007. Waste Management will continue to service customers in this community under their current agreements. Should you decide to go with another hauler, these residents will not be held to their contract. Residents under agreement and continue on under those agreements should expect to see yearly price increases to be determined by increases at the landfill, fuel costs, etc.

New residents may start service by contacting our Customer Service Department at 800-932-2232, but will be subject to our standard residential rate of $34.95. Thank you for all of your business and we look forward to continuing servicing residents in your community.

As a result, the Board has asked Management to seek competitive bids from other trash companies to offer to the residents of Cranberry Estates. Residents will be notified once more information is available.
